PM Modi arrives in City, Celebrates BJP’s Victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh
Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Mangaluru International airport here on December 19.
A large number of BJP workers gathered at the Mangaluru International Airport to welcome their leader and to celebrate the victory of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh in the Assembly polls.
PM Modi will stay overnight at the Circuit House and on December 19 he will fly by helicopter to Lakshadweep. All security arrangements have been made during his stay at the Circuit House in the city.
As soon as the people saw PM Modi coming out from the airport on the bulletproof car, they tried to climb over the barricades to have a closer look at him. The police were right on the spot to control the excited crowd and in a way avoided any untoward incidents from taking place. PM Modi stopped his car and got down to meet the crowd, waving at the crowd he acknowledged their support and victory in the assembly polls in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by District President Sanjeev Matandoor, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Director General and Inspector General of Police Neelmani and DC Sasikanth Senthil at the airport.
Chende, Kalladka Gombe, Nasik bands and drums were brought to the airport premises to celebrate the victory in the Assembly polls in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Union Minister P Radhakrishnan, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, President of ZP Meenakshi Shantigodu, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, Sullia MLA Angara, Director General and Inspector General of Police Neelmani N.Raju, ADGP Kamal Panth, Police Commissioner T R Suresh and others were also present.
