PM Modi says will not Tolerate Violence but followers involved in Violence in the name of Dharma – Minister Rai
Mangaluru: “MP Pratap Simha has violated the law by breaking the barricades and sitting in the driver seat of the government vehicle. BJP MP Pratap Simha should have the knowledge of the law, if an elected member is breaking the law by crossing all the limits how can he guide his followers to respect the law?”, questioned District Minister In-charge B Ramanath Rai after garlanding the statue of the Father of Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar at the Town Hall premises here on December 6.
Rai further said, “The government is providing vehicles for elected members along with the driver. But in the MP Pratap Simha’s case, he misused the government vehicle by sitting in the driver’s seat and driving over the barricades. Sitting in the driver’s seat in the vehicle provided by the government itself is a crime. After sitting in the driver’s seat and breaking the barricades is another crime which should not be forgiven.”
Minister Rai also said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that he will not tolerate violence in the name of religion but his followers create violence in the name of Dharma, Religion and patriotism”.
