PM Narendra Modi to address over a Lakh people in Mangaluru on May 5
Mangaluru: “Prime minister Narendra Modi will be arriving to Mangaluru on May 5 at 5:30 pm. On May 5, morning he will address the party workers in Shivamogga and reach Mangaluru. We are expecting more than a lakh people. All are requested to be present at the Venue before 4:30 pm for security reasons. After the programme in Mangaluru he will fly back to Delhi”, said the Election In-charge of DK Monappa Bhandary in a press meet held at the BJP office here on May 1.
Addressing the mediapersons Monappa Bhandary said, “National leaders, state leaders and 10 candidates from Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts will also be present. There will be no other programmes in Mangaluru. All the candidates from 10 constituencies will take part in the meeting. We have taken all measures for the success of the programme.”
Monappa Bhandary further said, “We have already started a special campaign. There was some confusion with PM Modi’s programme. Some news media had published that Modi will arrive to Mangaluru on May 8. To clarify any confusion PM Modi will arrive to Mangalur on May 5 at 5:30 pm.“
Capt Ganesh Karnik, Sulochana Bhat, Jitendra Kottari, Ravishankar Mijar and others were also present.
