PM should release White Paper on Fuel Price Hike – Pradeep Jain

Mangaluru: “There is a huge Diesel and Petrol scam of Rs 10 lakh Crore. This is Modi government scam which happened last year and it is for the first time that the government hiked the central excise duty 12 times. In the country this is the first time that the central excise duty has been hiked 500% and the common man, farmers and labourers have suffered. The BJP National president says that he respects the Karnataka soil as holy and after coming to Karnataka he said Yeddyurappa is the most corrupt minister which is the truth he said. The Niti Ayog CEO Amithab in the joint parliament session, said that five states are sick states and all those states are ruled by the BJP, at the same time he praised Karnataka state. If we see, the UP CM speaks about women empowerment and his minister is raping a girl for 12 months. The Modi government says Beti Padao Beti Bachao but now it is necessary to “Beti ka Baap ko Bachao”, said former Minister of State in Ministry of Rural Development Pradeep Jain in a press meet held at the DCC office, Mallikatta here on April 28.

Pradeep Jain said, “In Karnataka, the Siddaramaiah government is working for the last person of the society. When Modi started his campaign he started with Ganga Ma, by fooling people, but Ganga has never been cleaned. If a person cheats his own mother then he can cheat the entire country. Our PM has no knowledge that he cannot insult a Chief Minister which shows that he does not have trust in the Indian Constitution. The PM should release a white paper on the Petrol and Diesel price Hike”.

Former Union Minister of State for Urban Development Deepa Dasmunsi speaking to the mediapersons said, “From many days there are a lot of allegations against the Congress government led  by Siddaramaiah by the BJP. Yesterday we had released the manifesto from Rahul Gandhi and immediately the comment came from BJP that it was “Garbage”. After 24 hours they changed their mind and said that Congress party is following us. Now the people of Karnataka should understand that whatever plans the UPA 1 and 2 have made for India, the BJP is changing only the name and continuing the same projects. All the projects were planned earlier during UPA government, they have just changed the logo giving a different name. What they said “Garbage”, if the Congress party is following BJP’s plans then obviously it is garbage? All fake allegations are coming one after the other. In the social media BJP people are making fun of Rahul Gandhi. They say by the slip of tongue BJP president said that Yeddyurappa was the corrupt Chief Minister, it was not the slip of tongue but the truth which was in his mind came out from his mouth”.

Deepa Dasmunsi further said, “Till date, there are no allegations against CM Siddaramaiah so the BJP is making false allegations. Since the BJP has been cornered and has nothing to speak about development, they are now speaking about irrelevant issues. The hike in the price of petrol and diesel is much high in the BJP ruled states compared to Karnataka. When the UPA was in power and the fuel price in the international market was high, BJP leaders including Smriti Irani held Dharna at Janthar Manthar against the UPA government but now they have all maintained silence. When BJP talk about the corruption of the Congress party and levelling false allegations on Congress MLAs, they should first answer about the Reddy brothers. On one side the BJP says ‘Beti Bachao and Beti Padao’, (save daughter and give them education) but now not only save the daughter it is, save the daughter and also save the father of the daughter because one after another incident is taking place in our country. Young girls have been raped and BJP leaders are involved, what is the answer from the BJP? These issues should be addressed.”

National Media Panelist Jaiveer Shergill, DCC president Harish Kumar, District Mahila Congress President Shalet Pinto and others were also present.
