Police arrest two more In Assault Case
Udupi: The Shirva Police on Tuesday October 31 arrested two more on the charges of attacking and issuing a death threat to two persons at Shirva.
The arrested have been identified as Guruprasad and Sandeep.
Acting on a tip-off, the police followed the information passed on by the public over the phone to the SP. On the information receivedurq, the police managed to get the information on persons who had assaulted 2 people namely Shivaprasad and Manjunath under the Shirva Police station limits. During the late night action on October 29, CPI Kaup and his team under the supervision of ASP Karkala Rishikesh Sonavane and his team had arrested 6 persons and seized 2 motorbikes, whereas two others had escaped. On Tuesday the police succeeded to arrest two more persons.
The arrested accused Guruprasad is involved in one murder case, two attempt to murder cases and one robbery case while Sandeep was involved in a recent kidnap case of Baliga college student, Udupi town Police station,
