Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar Visits Baliga’s House

Mangaluru: The Commissioner of Police Chandra Sekhar visited the house of murdered RTI activist Vinayak Baliga, at Kodialbail here, on July 5.

On July 5, at around 5 pm, Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar visited Vinayak Baliga’s house and met his parents. Vinayak Baliga’s parents, sisters, niece and nephew were present at the residence. Chandra Sekhar enquired about the well-being of the family. He also discussed the proceedings of the case up till now and the progress that the police had made.

Vinayak Baliga was murdered by contract killers on March 21 when he was on his way to a temple. In this connection, 7 people including the prime accused Naresh Shenoy have been arrested. Investigations are still on in this regard.
