Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal Issues Extended EXTERNMENT Orders to 13 Habitual Offenders
- EXTERNMENT order prohibits convicted persons from residing in any specified area or locality for a specified period. (2) The area from which the convicted person is to be extended must be within the jurisdiction of the convicting court.
Mangaluru: To conduct the Lok Sabha elections 2024 peacefully and fairly, based on the directions of the Hon’ble Election Commission, the Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate has been implementing various preventive measures to maintain public peace and order. As part of this, from 23.3.2024 to 26.3.2024, Externment orders have been issued against 13 individuals. This is in addition to 48 people against Externment orders issued earlier this month. They have been extended to different districts and a close watch is being kept over their activities, to have peaceful elections.
Furthermore, up to today as a measure to keep peace and maintain good behaviour, security bonds have been imposed on 480 individuals who are habitual offenders and likely to commit breach of the peace this year.

1) Jnanesh Nayak @ Jnanesh (25), Padekallu, Bolara, Mangaluru Against him 3 cases have been registered to Unlawful Assembly, Rioting, wrongful restraint, Assault, criminal intimidation, attempt to Murder and Illegal possession of Arms In Mangaluru South Police Station of Mangaluru City.
2) Fhahad @ Abdul Fahad (25),, Kudroli, Mangaluru. Against him 8 cases have been registered to wrongful restraint, Assault, criminal intimidation, Grievous Hurt, attempt to Murder, Robbery, Extraction, preparation to Dacoity, destruction of public property, possession of illegal Arms consuming and Drug trafficking In Mangaluru East & Mangaluru North Police Station of Mangaluru City.
3) Dhanush @ Ramith Raj (30), Mogaveera Patna, Ullala. Against him 16 cases have been registered for Unlawful Assembly, Rioting, wrongful restraint, Assault, criminal intimidation, Kidnap, criminal conspiracy, illegal possession of Arms, attempt to Murder, assault of public servant and Consuming drugs in Panambur & Ullal Police Station of Mangaluru City.
4) Mohamad Suheb (28) Shanthinagar, Kavoor, Mangaluru. Against him, 5 cases have been registered for Drug consumption and trafficking, wrongful restraint, criminal intimidation, criminal Conspiracy, Assault attempt to Murder and Promoting enmity between different communities in Urwa & Kavoor Police Station of Mangaluru City.
5) Deepak @ Deepu @ Deepak Poojary Mudushedde, Vamanjuru, Mangaluru. Against him 3 cases have been registered to wrongful restraint, Assault, Hurt, attempt to Murder and Consuming Drug In Mangaluru East, Rural & Kavoor Police Station of Mangaluru City.
