Police complaint against Upendra
Bengaluru, (DHNS): A complaint has been registered against Kannada film actor Upendra at Sheshadripuram police station, accusing him of provoking and supporting voters to accept money from politicians to cast their vote.
Nagesh N, general secretary, Janata Dal (United), filed a complaint alleging that Upendra, during the launch of his party Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janata Paksha on Tuesday, provoked the voters to accept money from politicians, saying that it is their money.
Nagesh has sought the police to take action against Upendra for his provocative statement. Police are yet to register an FIR.
