Police Constable Commits ‘suicide’ in Kollur
Kundpaur: A police constable of the Kollur Police station reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at the Sowparnika Guest House Kollur here on Sunday, February 4.
The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj (27) a native of Davangere District who was working in the Kollur Police station as a Police Constable.
According to police sources, Nagaraj was staying with his roommate police constable Sandeep. On Saturday night Nagaraj left to the guest house after his duty. On Sunday morning when Sandeep came to the room Nagaraj was found hanging to a rope.
Nagraj was working in the Kollur Police station from the last four years. Recently he was transferred to Joida.
A case has been registered in the Kollur Police station.
