Police nab Sushanth in Japan Manga Court Premises Assault case
Mangaluru: The North police, on June 10, arrested another accused in an attempt to murder case which took place at the court premises on June 4.
The arrested has been identified as Sushanth (24), a resident of Shaktinagar.
On June 4, the accused in Homestay attack, including Subhash Padil, were assaulted by Japan Manga alias Raja in the court premises. Japan Manga was brought to the court premises by Sushanth on his bike and was waiting to take him back after the attack.
Due to the intervention of the police, Japan Manga failed in his attempt. Manga was arrested by the North Police on June 4 and produced before the court.
On June 10 at around 5:30 pm, Sushanth was also taken into custody by the North police and was produced before the court.
The operation was carried out under the able leadership of Police Inspector Shantharam, Sub-Inspector Madan, Head Constable Anand and Police Constable Jayaram.
