Police Register FIR Against 7 Agencies for Fraudulent Recruitment for GCC
Mangaluru: The Mangalore City police of North, South and East, raided 7 travel agencies in their jurisdiction for fraudulent recruitment for the Gulf countries. These agencies were engaged in fraudulent recruitment of individuals for employment in foreign countries without having the requisite permission and license from the Ministry of External Affairs.
On September 28, the police from the North police station raided the travel agencies in their jurisdiction and filed FIR against the owners of the agencies. The agencies are, M/S Master Associates, Manpower Consultant which is located on the fourth floor of Crystal Arcade Balmatta owned by Maxim Fernandes and M/S Flyking which is situated at Old Service Bus Stand opposite Rao and Rao Circle. Police have registered FIRs against Maxim Fernandes and the owner of Flyking.
The police of East PS raided M/S Career point travel agency which is located on the first floor, Essel Willcon building, Bendoorwell, owned by Abdur Razzaq and Mohammad Sharif, and M/S Imtiyaz international travel agency, Shalimar complex building, Kankanady owned by Ishak.
The South PS raided M/S ASMAX Enterprises, located in Al Rahaba Plaza 2nd Floor, Nellikai Road owned by JC Nizamuddin and M/S Skyway Travels Falnir owned by Ramesh Poojary.
FIRs have been registered against these agencies under section 10, 24 Immigration Act and Section 420 of IPC.
