Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary held a press meet at the District congress office here on April 30.

Addressing the mediapersons Poojary said that Modi does not have the courage to fight against the president of Congress Sonia Gandhi in AgustaWesland VVIP chopper case. He also said that Modi is targeting Sonia indirectly and does not have the courage to fight her face to face. If the congress leaders were interested in making money they would have signed the deal instead of cancelling it.

He also said that H K Patil, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj should resign from his post because of his statement on drought. His statement, “there is no drought, only excess summer”, proves that Patil has not visited any drought affected rural areas.

Poojary further said that Subramanian Swamy does not have any moral right to question the UPA government.

When asked whether he will take part in the district Bundh against Yettinahole project, on May 19, Poojary said that he does not encourage anyone to call for a bundh because it is against the constitution. The bundh will surely affect the people and the economy too. Let the activists visit every house and convince the people to oppose the Yettinahole project. Instead of calling for a bundh we have to take the people of the district into confidence and sensitize them to fight against the government to drop the project.

Arun Coelho, Sudheer TK and others were also present.

Please try to understand. Modi is busy at the moment working hard for development of India. I Strongly recommend a movie for you: Gubber returns and this movie is based on corruption in Congi Gove

Dear Jannanna
Thanks for your concern. Corruption been in India for the last 50 years. Rubber returns movie is meant for politicians.

Do not waste your time on Modi. Let him do his good job.

It’s amazing how two dozen reporters show up for every Jannanna’s comedy show when his own party leaders try to distance themselves from him!!! For a long time, ‘aatakuntu lekkakkilla’ Suresha Ballal was a regular attendee. Now he also has stopped showing up!!
