Popular Konkani Writer and Actor Benna Ruzai no More
Mangaluru: Konkani writer, playwright, actor and theatre organizer Benedicta Miranda, popularly known as Benna Ruzai passed away on August 24. He was 74.

Benedicta Miranda had acted since five decades in several Konkani stage plays including religious plays.
Benna Ruzai was the sub-editor of Konkani Monthly “Mai Gaavn” and the editor of the Rosario Cathedral Monthly magazine “Ruzaichi Laran”. Benna Ruzai had won the hearts of Konkani lovers through his acting, and many organizations honoured him.
The body will be kept for public viewing on August 24, at the Jeppu Cemetary from 3:00 pm followed by the funeral mass at 4:00 pm.
