Bantwal: The Chemistry question paper of the state PU examinations to have been held on Mar 21 had been leaked and the revised date was Mar 31.
As reported in these columns already, a girl student was in a dilemma because the revised date of the examinations was coinciding with the date of her marriage.
On one hand, the marriage preparations had been planned over the past three or more months. On the other, if she had missed the examination, she would have lost a year in studies.
When she was in turmoil over this issue, there was another development. The question paper set afresh was also leaked out. This resulted in the examination getting postponed by over ten days.
Although there was outrage all over the state, for this girl from Bantwal it was a blessing in disguise. Her marriage could take place as planned without any hitch or hindrance in a marriage hall in Neralakatte on Mar 31.
