Pramod Madhwaraj accepts Defeat, says ‘All were Helpless against Modi wave’
Udupi: Riding on the “Modi wave”, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) retained its hold over the Udupi – Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency with the sitting Member of Parliament – Shobha Karandlaje maintaining a high lead.
After Shobha Karandlaje’s massive lead, the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) candidate Pramod Madhwaraj accepted defeat in the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru parliamentary constituency. Pramod Madhwaraj attributed his defeat to the Modi wave.
When there is a wave in favour of Bjp all of us become helpless . Nevertheless voters are our bosses and they have given the verdict which I humbly accept without any bitterness.
