Pramod Madhwaraj visits Malpe, says Shobha should go campaign in Varanasi
Udupi: The coalition candidate for the Udupi-Chikkamangaluru constituency – Pramod Madhwaraj sought votes from the fishermen community at the Malpe port here, on April 10 morning.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com Pramod said, “As an MLA, I had responded to the woes of the poor and my own fishermen community in Udupi. I understand the woes of the fishermen. The sitting MP Shobha Karandlaje is visible in the constituency only during the elections. I was born and brought up along with the fishermen families and I have experienced the problems of the fishermen community”.
Pramod further said, “The achievement of the sitting MP Shobha Karandlaje is zero in the last five years. She does not have any moral right to seek votes. It is a tragedy that she is seeking votes in Modi’s name. She should go to Varanasi to seek votes in the name of Modi.”
“The coalition government in Karnataka is working for the welfare of the fishermen and the common man. I have knowledge on the burning issues of our community and I will work towards solving these issues.”
Congress leaders Prakyath Shetty, Ramesh Kanchan, U R Sabhapthi, Kiran Kumar Udayvar, Narayana Kundar, Steevan Culaco, Yathish Karekera, and others were also present.
