Justice Bhagawati who gave a verdict justifying emergency and took away the fundamental right passed away at 95.
Will our beloved president who sided with Indiramma express the kind of regrets that justice Bhagawati did in 2011?
Better late than never.

Thank God the President is visiting Udupi, and will get off
at the Helipad ground in Adi Udupi. Because of which, the
Udupi Municipality, the Udupi PWD, and the Highway
Contractor have all suddenly woken up to clean Adi Udupi
and Karavali Bi-Pass and give the areas a well groomed
cosmetic look, to impress the President and his entourage,
which otherwise is in shambles with bad roads, so many
illegal eateries and shops and huts, and the helipad grounds
full of dirt and shrub and rotting govt.vehicles and motorbikes.

When one gets into electronic media and goes through various subjects, one learns a lot of things. I was going through an interview of an ex-intelligence officer, who said that it was Mr. Pranabh Mukherjee who instead of vigorously pursuing the case with Swiss authorities to get details of all Indians having slush funds, black monies, etc. in Swiss banks came to an arrangement with them to notify to the Indian authorities only the names of Indians who open accounts from a certain dates. So, all those already having fat accounts were left off the hook. One need not have… Read more »

Lalit Modi, Vijay Mal-leykey-gaya (or King of Fraud), that rabid Islamic preacher and evangelist, Kartik Chidambaram, the son of illustrious ex-Home and Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram and Lalu Prasad Yadav have all committed economic frauds and/or broken the law, etc., totalling hundreds and thousands of crores, but they say that they have not done any wrong and if they are in the opposition, they say it is a political vendetta. Our investigating authorities and judicial system is either very slow or do not want to impound their passports, impose a lookout notice and travel ban, thus depriving the opportunities for… Read more »

The mayhem and acts of violence of Divakar Reddy created at the Vijaywada airport in Andhra Pradesh is highly objectionable and deserves to be strongly condemned. He came late to the airport and when the Indigo staff told him that he cannot get a boarding pass for that flight because he had come just 28 minutes earlier for the boarding pass and the aircraft’s doors were closed, he lost his fuse and acted boisterously, pushed Indigo staff and damaged a printer. To his luck, the Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapati Raju, was at the airport and he instructed the airlines… Read more »

The best President India ever had and who could be called the people’s President was Dr. A.P.J. Kalam and the second best was Dr. Sarvapally Radhakrishnan. I do not think much of Pranabh Mukherjee, who is Sonia Gandhi’s stooge. The worst Presidents were Pratibha Patil, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed (of emergency era) and V.V. Giri. I do not know who will be the next President. Today, it appears that R.S.S. Chief, Mohan Bhagwat, met Pranabh Mukherjee. Does this ring a bell? An incumbent for the President’s post should be a man with sterling qualities with mass appeal and not a jerk… Read more »
