President of Madani Madrasa Assulted by Youth, injured
Ullal: The president of Pilar Madani Madrasa was assaulted by a youth near Pilar here on January 30.
The injured has been identified as Mohammed Aslam K M Nurullah.
According to police, on January 30, Mohammed Aslam was on his way to the Mosque for the evening prayer. While Mohammed was standing near the Madrasa, P C Zakir from Darandabagilu came on a motorbike and assaulted Mohammed. Later Zakir picked an interlock and hit Mohammed on the head. Before Zakir fled from the spot, he threatened Mohammed with life.
Mohammed was rushed to a private hospital in Thokkottu.
Ullal police have registered a case and are investigating.
