Mangaluru : Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at the MCC Bank Conference Hall, Anil Lobo-the Chairman of MCC Bank Ltd said, ” The growth and progress of MCC Bank from a humble beginning in 1912 has been commendable over the years leading to be a strong Urban Co-operative Bank. This growth was possible due to the co-operation of our beloved members, increased faith of our esteemed customers and professionalism of our staff. To improve the quality of service rendered to our customers, the Bank has offered an improved banking experience through the technology of core banking. At present we have two ATMs at our branches at Hampankatta and B C Road, and in the nearest future four more ATM’s will be launched”.
“MCC Bank has won the hearts of young generation with its ‘Vidya Bhavishya’ Students Savings Account Scheme and also has planned various attractive schemes for the future. These schemes will enable to increase the volume of Low Cost Funds. Senior Citizens Card, Pan Card has been already implemented in all branches and E-Stamping facility has been implemented at Hampankatta, Kankanady, Bajpe, B.C.Road and Udupi branches, and now this facility will be extended to Karkala branch too. Ever since the new board of the Bank took charge last year, we have come up with several programmes and schemes for the growth of the bank, such as IFSC code, E-stamping, mobile banking, Rupay card, ATMs, staff training and quick loans” added Lobo..
The MCC Bank Ltd has the facilities for Lockers, Demand Drafts, RTGS/ NEFT/IMPS, SMS alert service, PAN Card, Senior Citizen card, ATM facility, Mobile Banking and very soon facility for E-Stamping will also be made available in all the branches. The Board of Directors under the leadership of Anil Lobo, has taken charge to manage the Bank with a clear vision to take the Bank to its new heights. The Board implement Continuous Training for Bank Staff, Direct and Quick Vehicle Loans, Renovation of Branch Premises etc. The Loan System has been modified to provide better Credit Facilities to Customers. Home loan at 9.50%, Quick Vehicle Loan at 9.50%, Mortgage Loan, Business Loan, Education Loan and House Renovation Loans will be arranged at low interest rates and in a more simplified way. Anil Lobo, has several plans to improve and modernize the bank’s services.

-On 9 September at 9.30 am at MCC Bank- Karkal branch, Mahammayi Complex, near Taluk Office, Karkal-the 3rd ATM Centre and E-Stamping Launching Ceremony;
-On 11 September at 9.30 am at MCC Bank- Bajpe branch, D’Cunha Complex, near Bajpe Bus Stand, the 4th ATM Centre Inauguration.
-On 12 September at 9.30 am at MCC Bank- Kanakanady Branch, Emporium Complex, Kankanady inauguration of Renovated Air-conditioned Premise and the 5th ATM Centre Launching;
-On 15 September at 10 am at MCC Bank- Shirva Branch at Shirva Main Road, near Bus Stand will be Shifted to Air-conditioned New Premises and 6th ATM Centre Inauguration
