Prime Accused Bharat in Ashraf Kalayi Murder Case Arrested?
Mangaluru: The prime accused in the SDPI leader Mohammed Ashraf Kalayi murder case has been arrested by the CCB Police here on July 1.
SDPI leader Mohammed Ashraf Kalayi was brutally murdered by Bharat and his group at Benjanpadav on June 21.
So far six of the accused have been arrested in the Ashraf Kalayi murder case. Sources have informed mangalorean.com that now the seventh and prime accused Bharat Kumdelu who was absconding after the murder has been arrested.
Bharat Kumdelu was seen in a press meet held by Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat in Mangaluru on May 28. After the murder of Ashraf Kalayi, section 144 was imposed in Bantwal, Beltangady, Puttur and Sullia to avoid any untoward incidents from taking place.
