Prof Vernon D’Silva (53) Dies on Spot after Bus Rolls over Car at Vamanjoor

Mangaluru: In a tragic road accident a car driver died on the spot after a bus rolled over the car at Kettikal, Vamanjoor here on December 28.

The deceased has been identified as Prof Vernon Brian D’Silva (53).

According to reports, the bus was plying from Moodbidri to Mangaluru. Near Kettikal, the driver of the bus lost control and the bus rolled over the car killing the car driver on the spot.

In the incident, two other occupants in the car were also severely injured. The Mangaluru Rural police reached the spot and are investigating.
