Property Dispute at Kasba Bengre Ends in Brother’s Murder
Mangaluru: A property dispute ended in murder at Kasba Bengre here on October 18.
The deceased has been identified as Mustafa from Kasba Bengre.
According to the police, there was a property dispute between Abdul Rahman and his brother deceased Mustafa. Abdul Rahman was torturing his mother and sister in the property issue.
On October 17, late night Abdul Rahman started to fight with his brother Mustafa demanding the house which his mother and sister are residing. Abdul Rahman’s mother and brother-in-law interevened and tried to stop the fight. But Abdul Rahman who was very upset, stabbed Mustafa and fled from the spot.
Severely injured Mustafa was rushed to a private hospital in the city but on October 18, at 2:30 am, Mustafa breathed his last without responding to treatment. The accused has been arrested by the police.
The Panambur police have registered a case and are investigating.
