Prostitution Racket in Lodge Busted, Pimp Arrested, 3 Girls Rescued
Mangaluru: The CCB police arrested a pimp involved in a prostitution racket in the city after a raid on a lodge and rescued 3 girls here on September 16
The arrested has been identified as Deepak (43) from Virajpet Kodagu district.
On September 16th getting reliable information that a prostitution racket was operating in the City Comfort Lodge in K S Rao road, the CCB police raided the lodge and arrested a pimp.
The police seized 2 mobile phones from his possession. The police are searching for three other pimps namely Naseer Uppinangady, Naseer Adyar Padav and Jeevan Poojary. All the four accused were running a prostitution racket in the City Comfort Lodge supplying young girls to their customers. Three girls were rescued during the operation.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashath the operation was carried out by the CCB Police Inspector Shantaram Kundar, PSI Shyam Sundar, North Police Inspector Suresh and team.
A case has been registered in the North Police station.
