Public Pelt Stones after KSRTC Bus Hits Car at Bendurwell

Mangaluru: There was a commotion after a KSRTC bus collided into a car at the Karavali Circle, Bendurwell here on February 19.

On February 19, at around 8:30 pm, a KSRTC bus and a car were moving towards Pumpwell from Bendurwell. As the vehicles reached Karavali circle, the KSRTC bus while taking a left turn collided into the car.

As soon as the incident took place, the public gathered at the spot and pelted stones at the bus due to which the front windshield of the bus was damaged.

When the situation was about to go out of control, the East Traffic police reached the spot and initiated necessary action.

In this connection, a case and a counter case has been registered in Traffic East Police station. The police are investigating.

Those pelting stones should be booked for vandalism of Government property and made to pay for the repair of the bus.
