Pujas and Prayers held for Inaugural Ceremony of INLAND Scion
Mangaluru: Pujas and Prayers were held as oart of the Inaugural Ceremony of INLAND Scion at Highland, here on January 29.
According to the Hindu rituals, the Puja was performed by Giridhar Bhat of Radhakrishna Temple. Assistant Parish Priest of Milagres Church Fr Anil blessed the premises, Qatib of Juma Masjid Arkula Koppala P S Mohammed Kamil Saqafi and Yahya Madani from Al Madrasa Bunder performed Dua.
Addressing the gathering Chairman and Managing director of INLAND group Siraj Ahmed said, “The land owners of the land had built a beautiful house Selva Sadan in this place. The landowner was working in Srilanka and he had built a beautiful house of Srilankan design and had named the house as ‘Selva Sadan’. While demolishing the house, we had preserved the granite name plaque of the house ‘Selva Sadan.”
Siraj further said, “Fifty years ago Uchil had built a beautiful house and he was residing with his 5 beautiful children. Sashi’s mother was willing to construct an apartment building on this land and on trust Uchil family gave the land to us. We have now built 25 flats and God had destined this to be done through INLAND builders. The name plaque has very much sentiment values and so we had preserved it. Our engineer has preserved it in top condition and today we are handing over the plaque to the land owners. The family members can make the best use of it.”
He also said, “We have constructed beautiful apartment buildings to our clients in and around Mangaluru, since all of our clients are incredible and they should be living happily in these flats. To whomever, we have handed over the flats so far, they are happy and we will always be at their service”.
Later the plaque “Selva Sadan” was handed over to the Uchil family namely Navin, Sashi, Pramod, Praveen and Vajreshwari.
The project designer of INLAND Scion, Sagar; Site engineer Vinyas; contractor Mahabala and site supervisor Brijesh were felicitated by the CMD Siraj and Director of In-land Infrastructure Developers Meraj Yusuf.
Praveen Uchil speaking to mangalorean.com said, “I thank the builder Siraj Ahmed for constructing the beautiful building INLAND SCION, we are all thankful to him. We are five siblings, The plaque “Selva Sadan”, preserved carefully and handed over to us by Siraj is priceless with all our childhood memories. We will surely preserve it as a treasure.”
The inauguration of the INLAND Scion will be done by Chief Traffic Warden Joe Gonsalves in the evening at 7:00 pm.
