Pulwama attack: Modi Govt Should Teach Befitting Lesson to Terrorists – Pejawar Swamiji
Udupi: Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math said that the Centre should act firm and launch a retaliation to the heinous act of terrorists in Pulwama.
Speaking to media persons on Friday, February 15 at the Pejawar Math Swamiji said, “The Prime Minister can decide on whether the retaliation act should be on the lines of a surgical strike. Although violence and war are disagreeable, the NDA government should firmly act against the terrorists and teach them a befitting lesson. The government, however, should strongly condemn the incident and put an end to the terror acts in the country,” he added.
The Swamiji, offering prayers to the souls of the martyrs, declared that those who lay down their lives for the sake of their motherland are equivalent to saints. They are accorded high regard and respect for their invaluable sacrifice.
The Swamiji also quoted phrases from the Mahabharata, to justify the offering of high respect to the soldiers.
