Puttur: Tony D’Almeida (46), a resident of Sanjay Nagar, Koornadka here, has died of a cardiac arrest in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, according to information reaching here.
He was the sole issue of the late Casimir D’Almeida and the late Maria D’Costa of Vengurla of Sindhudurg distric in Maharashtra. Later on, he had settled in Arva in Beltangady. In 2002, he got married to Florine from here and relocated to Sanjay Nagar.
He was working as a driver in Muscat over the past 15 years. He is survived by wife Florine and son Kevin, a student of Bethany School in Panglai here.
His mortal remains are likely be airflown soon for final rites in Maril.
