Puttur: A 33-year-old woman, a mother of three children from Kolpe in
Konalu village, had reportedly gone missing since Sep 29, along with two of the children, Mokshit (9) and Priya (11).
From the same date, Vithal (28), a bachelor, was also reported missing. Two separate cases had been registered in the Uppinangady police station in this connection.
Both of them, accompanied by leaders of their communities, turned up at the police station on Sunday night. The woman stated that she had of her own accord gone with Vithal, and she would prefer living with him in future.
Police sources said that talks would continue between the families of the woman and Vithal to decide about the future of the children.
