Rachana Awards 2023-25: Nominations and Recommendations Invited for Outstanding Catholic Individuals
Mangalore: Rachana, the Catholic Chamber of Commerce & Industry, today announced the opening of nominations and recommendations for the prestigious Rachana Awards 2023-25. Established in 1998, Rachana is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of outstanding Catholic individuals from the Diocese of Mangalore.
The Rachana Awards will be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments and leadership in their respective fields. The five categories for this year’s awards are:
- Rachana Agriculturist
- Rachana Entrepreneur
- Rachana Professional (Doctor, Advocate, Engineer, Chartered Accountant)
- Rachana NRI Entrepreneur/Professional
- Rachana Outstanding Woman (Entrepreneur/Professional/Agriculturist)
Each award recipient will receive a title, a citation, a memento, and public recognition for their contributions.
Rachana invites applications, nominations, and recommendations from the public. Submissions must include a photograph of the nominee and should be addressed to: The President, RACHANA, First Floor, Pio Mall, Jail Road, Mangalore 575 004. Electronic submissions can also be sent to rachanamangalore@gmail.com. The deadline for all submissions is May 31, 2025.
A distinguished panel of 25 jury members will meticulously review all nominations and recommendations to select the most deserving candidates in each category.
The Rachana Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Milagres Jubilee Hall, Mangalore. Dignitaries and prominent community figures will attend the event, which will be presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore.
