Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji Mendon file nomination papers
Udupi: Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Udupi assembly constituency Raghupathi Bhat, and Kaup candidate Lalaji R Mendon filed their nomination papers in their respective constituencies to the Returning officers on Monday, April 23.
While Raghupathi Bhat went in a procession from Chittaranjan Circle to Bannanje before filing the papers. Lalaji R Mendon took out a procession from the NH to Bannanje.
Raghupathi Bhat was accompanied by BJP leaders Yashpal Suvarna, Murali Prathap Hegde and Prabhakar Poojary, Lalaji R Mendon was accompanied by his wife and others.
