Rahul’s Act of Kindness Assisting Poojary get down the Dais well appreciated

Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary attended the Karnataka Manifesto release programme at TMA Pai hall on April 27.

Janardhan Poojary was brought to the stage by the Congress workers. When the programme began Poojary was welcomed to the stage. As soon as Rahul Gandhi arrived at the stage, he straight away went to Janardhan Poojary and greeted him. Poojary was overwhelmed and welcomed Rahul.

When the manifesto was released Rahul with due respect gave the first copy to Janardhan Poojary.

As soon as CM Siddaramaiah finished his speech, before the main points of the Manifesto were presented through PPT all the dignitaries were requested to be seated in the hall. While Poojary got up, Rahul went near Poojary and holding his hand assisted him to get down the dais.

The act of kindness by Rahul helping the senior leader was well appreciated. Rahul set an example for the younger generation to help elders when they need support.

Last month on March 21, while Rahul in Mangaluru for the Janaashirvada Yatra, he had met former finance Minister Janardhan Poojary at the Temple premises. We can recall that Janardhan Poojary was overwhelmed with joy seeing Rahul Gandhi at the Temple and shed tears of joy as he hugged Rahul Gandhi.
