Rai should be Expelled from Congress to Stop Communal Violence – Harikrishna Bantwal
Mangaluru: “The District Minister In-charge has insulted Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary. Our people are intellectuals and they want peace and harmony in the district. Janardhan Poojary has never insulted not has he used cheap words against anyone in his life. But the District minister has insulted the senior Congress leader during a wedding function. Poojary is very depressed knowing that Rai had used a very cheap language and insulted him during a wedding function of Rajesh, the owner of Ratna Borewell’s. Minister Rai had attended the function along with his team. At the function when Minister Rai met passed in front of Arun Coelho and Tejaswiraj, The Minister used cheap language against Kallige Taranath Shetty and Janardhan Poojary. Until Rai is in the Congress party, Communal Violence in the district will not stop,” said Harikrishna Bantwal in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on June 28.
Harikrishna further said, “From the past 34 years I am with Poojary but he did not use any foul language against anyone. Poojary has not done any favour to me but I respect him. Ramanath Rai joined the Congress in 1981 through Sadanada Pai Kalladka, I had joined the party in 1980 when Janardhan Poojary was the MP. When Rai was regularly visiting Poojary’s house, Poojary’s mother requested Poojary to help Rai. And in 1985, Poojary helped Rai to get a ticket to contest the elections. Rai was not known to Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi. We helped him to win the elections in 1985. Today Rai is a Minister and if he is successful in politics that is because of Janardhan Poojary.”
Harikrishna also said, “If the Congress has culture, Ramanath should be expelled from the party. Everyone has the right to criticise but being a minister, Rai should have maintained his position and never used the words he used against the senior Congress leader in front of his followers and that too in a marriage function. Rai followers say that he is 24 carat gold, people should decide that and not his followers. Rai is not 24 carat gold but he is zero carat. If the Congress expels Ramanath Rai from the party then there will not be any communal violence in the district. Rai’s agenda is to create communal violence. If Rai wants communal harmony let him go to the religious heads and hold harmony meets. I ask the CM not to transfer the police officers or any government officers but he should transfer Ramanath Rai from the Congress. Do we need such politician?” Questioned Harikrishna.
Harikrishna congratulated Pejawar Swamiji and said, “In Udupi, the move by the Swamiji to celebrate Iftar with the Muslim brethren is a welcome move. We need to be Indians first. When we think that we all are Indians first, then there will be communal harmony in the society and country.”
So all is not well with the party of 44.
Congress and other pseudo-secular parties have been playing communal politics for decades. It’s part of their strategy to insult and attack majority Hindus while pampering minorities and supporting their shenanigans. Mr.Rai was caught on video bullying a senior police officer. What more proof you need? As soon as minority appeasement stops, the right-wing Hindoo groups will run out of oxygen and die.
