‘Ram Temple should be Built in Ayodhya which belongs to Hindus’- Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV)

Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) JV Regional secretary Radhakrishna Adyanthaya said, “A mega convention will be held in Mangaluru which is among the four major ones as per the directions of the religious heads early this year. We public pressure to be brought on the Centre to resolve the Ayodhya Ram Temple issue through legislation in the upcoming Parliament session. The Supreme Court was not keen on early disposal of the civil dispute”.

“Bajrang Dal National Convenor Sohan Singh Solanki will be the keynote speaker at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad convention which will be held on 25 November 2018 in Nehru Maidan to build pressure on the Centre to resolve the Ramjanmabhooomi issue. Similar conventions will be held on the same day in Ayodhya, Nagpur and Bengaluru. Apart from the major convention in Mangaluru and three other places in the country, a mega convention will be held in New Delhi on December 9. Various Hindu organizations will organize conventions in 525 Lok Sabha constituencies between November 25 and December 9. MPs from Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies will participate in the conventions” said Adyanthaya.

“In Mangaluru, a rally will be taken out on November 25 from Ambedkar Circle to the Nehru Maidan at 3.30 p.m. People from different parts of Dakshina Kannada and other parts of the State will take part in the rally. Hindu activists will go around the district on November 22 to invite people to the programme. Several religious leaders and saints are expected to take part in the meet. Regarding the Sabarimala issue, HJV demands the suspension of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s government in the state and urged the central government to intervene and sort out the issue. We demand promulgation of an Ordinance by the Kerala government giving primacy to religious practices at the temple in Sabarimala” added Radhakrishna.

He further said, “Kerala government was acting against the beliefs of Hindus by going ahead with implementing the orders of the Supreme Court to allow women into the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala. While usually time is taken for implementing orders of the Supreme Court, the Kerala government is acting in haste to implement the orders concerning Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala. The Kerala government should respect the feelings of the devotees and file a review petition against the court judgment. Sabarimala temple was among the several temples revered by devotees across the country. The Kerala government should not interfere with the age-old customs and practices of the temple”.

Kishore Kumar, Amith Kundabele and Subhas Padil of HJV were present during the press meet.
