Ramadan Begins In Coastal Districts From April 24
Mangaluru: The new moon was sighted at Kappad on April 23. The Qazi of Dakshina Kannada Al-Haj Ahmed Musliyar Bekal and the Udupi Qazi Al-Haj Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal has confirmed the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan in Udupi and DK region from April 24.
Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims, Muslims around the world commemorate this special month by fasting, prayers, charity and devotion.
