Ramakrishna Mission’s ‘Magic for cleanliness’ reaches wide audience

Mangaluru: In the last 2 years as a part of the Swacch Mangaluru for Swacch Bharath campaign, Ramakrishna Mission has organized Several awareness programmes to create awareness among the masses about cleanliness and their role like seminars, art camps, competitions etc. The latest addition to the list was the magic show under the theme, “Magic for cleanliness”.

Kudroli Ganesh and group performed about 30 magic shows on the theme, “Magic for Cleanliness” in different areas in and around Mangalore since last 15 days. They set out in a specially designed tableau and performed two shows each day for the past 15 days. The series was inaugurated on the 19th March at Panambur beach. Magic is an effective means to reach out to more and more people, young and old alike. More than 17000 people were reached with the message of cleanliness through these magic shows under the auspices of Ramakrishna Mission.

The concluding programme of this magic for cleanliness was organized at the Ramakrishna Math premises on the 2nd April morning. After performing the last show at the Ashram premises, Kudroli Ganesh thanked the Ashram authorities for providing an apt platform and opportunity to associate and work for the common good cause. He also shared his experience travelling throughout Mangaluru for this noble cause. Captain Ganesh Karnik, MLC inaugurated the show and spoke a few words followed by B H V Prasad of MRPL. Swami Jitakamanandaji, Dr N Vinay Hegde, Dr Srilatha, Hundreds of students from Sahyadri Institute of Technology and several devotees and volunteers of the Ashram witnessed the programme.

MRPL & Nitte Group of Institutions had supported this caused under their CSR Initiative for Swacch Bharath Programme.
