Ramakrishna Mission’s Swacchata Jan Sampark Abhiyans carried out in March 2019
Daily Campaigns of Ramakrishna Mission Swacchata Jan Sampark Abhiyan were carried out at various places in Mangalore from 1st March to 30th March. About 22 Abhiyans were carried out by 22 different groups. Till date, about 3000 people have registered their names for Pot-compost with the Ashrama.
Surathkal: In association with Buntara Sangha Surathkal, 78th programme was conducted at Bunatara Bhavan Surathkal. Interactions and demo were held regarding dry & wet waste segregation & management. Sudhakar Punja, Navin Shetty Padre, Lokayya Padre & others were present.
Theosophical Society: 79th programme of Jan Sampark Abhiyan was held at Theosophical Society in Kodialbail. Umanath Kotekar & Sachin Shetty addressed the public. Narasimha Shetty welcomed the gathering. Krishnananda Shenoy delivered the vote of thanks. Somashekar B M coordinated the programme. Prof. Raghavendra Prabhu M, Rohan Siri & many other eminent members of the society were present.
Yashaswi Nagar: 80th Programme of the Sampark Abhiyan was held at “Sri Krishna Kripa” for the members of Yashaswi Nagar residents Union in Urwa. Prakash Rao was the chief guest. Satish Shetty coordinated the programme.
Paramjyoti Bhajana Mandali: 81st programme was held at Paramjyothi Bhajana Mandali, Alape. Bhaskarachandra Shetty, Ramachandra Kottari, Shambhavi Kottari and many others were present. Bharath Shetty coordinated the programme.
Koota Mahajagattu: 83rd Programme was organised at Sri Guru Narasimha Sabha Bhavana near Pandeshwar Mahalingeshwar Temple under the auspices of Koota Mahajagattu Mahila Vedike. Swami Ekagamyanandaji addressed the members about “Role of Women in Swacchata Abhiyan”. Pot Demonstration was held for the members. Sheshagiri Rao, Leela Rao & others were present on the dais. Lalitha Upadhyaya welcomed the gathering. Vijayalaxmi Coordinated the programme.
Sri Devi Mahila Mandali: 84th programme was held for the members of Sri Devi Mahila Mandali at Sri Subrahmanya Temple of Gourimutt in Car Street. Umanath Kotekar addressed them about cleanliness & Swacchata Abhiyan. Manjula Gopal welcomed. Saroja Selvaraj, Kanamma Kandaswamy were special invitees. Jagan Kodikal coordinated the programme.
Sri Narayanaguru Mandira Kodikal: Members of Swacch Kodikal Team organised the 85th Jan Sampark Abhiyan & demo of pot compost at Brahmashri Narayanaguru Dharma Paipalana Mandira. Sachin Shetty gave a demonstration of wet waste segregation & compost making. Dayamani Kotian, Shobha Anchan were chief guests. Dayananda Mangaluru welcomed. Shivu Puttur & Kiran Kodikal coordinated the programme.
Vamanjur: 86th Programme of Jan Sampark Abhiyan was held at Thiruvail Ward Customs Colony. Sudhir Noronha coordinated the programme. Raghu Salian, Gopal, Suresh Rao, Jayaram Alva, Charles & others were present.
Peninsular Honda: 87th programme was held for the staff, employees & customers of Peninsular Honda Showroom at Derebail. Nallur Sachin Shetty gave a demonstration of pot composting. Service Manager Rajesh welcomed. Vinod, Nishchita & many others attended the programme. Shishir Amin coordinated the programme.
Sri Sharadotsava Seva Trust: 88th Programme was held in association with Swacch Padil Team members for members of Batlagudda Shantinagara Residents union. Umanath Kotekar briefed them about the Swacchata Abhiyan. Mohan Padil, Gopal Salian, Kusuma Keshava were present on the dais. Uday K P coordinated the programme.
Samskrita Bharathi: In association with Samskrita Bharati & Keshava Smriti Samvardhana Samiti, 89th Programme was held at Sanghaniketan in Mannagudda. M R Vasudev was the chief Guest and said, “If everyone awakens to his responsibility of managing his own waste then only the dream of Swacch Bharath can be realised.” Umanath Kotekar & Sachin Shetty interacted with the public and gave a demonstration. Anitha Rao welcomed. Veena Garde delivered the vote of thanks. Nandini Kanakaraj anchored. Dr Vishwas & Dr Shanthala coordinated this programme.
Kadambodi: In joint association with Ashraya Yuva Vedike & Mahila Vedike, 90th programme was held at Kadambodi. President Kusuma Mahabala Poojari, Sumathi Hande & others were present. Om Prakash Shettigar welcomed. Satish Sadananda coordinated the programme.
Jeppina Mogaru: 91st Jan Sampark Abhiyan Programme was held for the members of Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti in Brahmashri Narayana Guru Mandira. Pushpalatha, Smt. Usha & many other yoga participants attended the programme.
Kulala Sangha: In association with Surathkal Kulala Sangha, 92nd programme was held at Tadambail Kulala Bhavana. Prof. Krishnamurthy, Sudhakar Kulal were chief guests.
Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti: 93rd programme of Jan Sampark Abhiyan was held at Vidyadayini English Medium School for the yoga participants of Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti. Nataraj Surathkal, & Satish Sadananda coordinated the programme.
Electrical Contractors Union: 94th Jan Sampark Abhiyan Programme was held for the members of Electrical Contractors Union at Vidyadayini Rural Development & Agricultural Training Institute Hall. President Sukumar, Urban Pinto, Prof. Rajamohan Rao & others were present.
Lions Club: 95th programme was held at for the members of Lions Club at Lions Special Children’s School. President Keshava Salian, Dr T R Shetty & Dr Rajamohan Rao were present on the dais. Satish Sadananda welcomed and anchored the programme.
Ganeshpur: In association with JCI, Ganeshpura, 96th programme of Jan Sampark Abhiyan was held at Sri Sharada Bhajana Mandali in Ganeshpura. President Uday Kumar, Dr Sampath Kumar were present in the programme.
Krishnapur: 97th demonstration of pot compost was given to the members of Krishnapur Bhajana Mandali at Sri Krishna Bhajana Mandir at Krishnapur. Dinesh Bangera welcomed. Ramesh L Shetty presided over the meeting. Dinesh delivered the vote of thanks.
Saripalla: 98th programme of Jan Sampark ABhiyan was held at Saraswati Friends Circle, Saripalla for the yoga participants of Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti. Umanath Kotekar & Satish Sadananda coordinated the programme.
