Real Madrid’s entire squad flies to Munich ahead of Bayern clash
Madrid, April 24 (IANS) Real Madrid’s entire squad has flown out to Munich for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Among the squad called up by coach Zinedine Zidane for the crucial match was defender Nacho Fernandez, who is still recovering from a muscle injury to his right thigh sustained during Real Madrid’s 3-0 win against Las Palmas on April 2, reports Efe.
“Los Blancos, led by club president Florentino Perez and with the entire squad called up, left Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas airport with Germany as their destination,” the club said in a statement.
The team is set to have its last training later Tuesday at Allianz Arena in Munich.
