Rego Events Gears Up for Charity Based Beauty Pageant ‘Miss & Mrs Mangaluru 2018’
Mangaluru: First time ever, a charity based beauty pageant is happening in Mangaluru with the concept of crowdfunding. This pageant is organized by Rego Events Private Limited and partnered officially with Ketto to create awareness about the cause. Ketto is an online social crowdfunding platform wherein any supporter can raise funds for their social cause one time or on monthly basis.
The charity pageant for 2018 will be for both Miss & Mrs category. The event has been scheduled for 23rd December 2018 at the City Beach Resort, Mangalore. The grooming session will commence on 21st Dec 2018 and 22nd Dec 2018. The 2 days schedule will focus on model training, makeup session, Hair and Skin session, charity trip, fitness session, formation rehearsal and Mangalore toastmasters club contest.
As a part of fundraising assignment, Rego Event’s team have travelled to Valpadi Village and visited all the areas, school and have met families who required support. It was shocking to know that the families in that village are still living in an environment without electricity and proper shelter with their children. Nearby the village there is only one school named Anegudde, which has 110 poor students and 6 teachers. Out of which only 3 teachers are paid through government and the other 3 wait for generous support.
Miss & Mrs Mangaluru team has decided to provide students with the required basic supports to fulfil their needs and help them learn and grow. Listed below are some of the facilities that are planned to support…
- School games room – Carom board, football and net, throw ball, cricket kit and plastic balls
- 8 Fans and lights as per requirement for classrooms.
- Competition Certificate, Medals and championship cup for winners at school
- School bags, Drawing kit and other required accessories for 110 students.
- Repairing home roof and floor which really need immediate attention.
- Providing solar light facility to those who have no electricity.
- Good quality blanket for 110 Students
- Grocery distribution for 30 families.
- Agriculture counselling for poor families who own property but never used it.
Our motto through this pageant is to help those who are in need and spread social cause awareness in our society.
