Reject ‘Jihadi Mindset’ Congress Party in the Assembly Elections – Yogi Adityanath

Kundapur: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday, May 8, urged the people to reject what he called “divisive” politics and the “jihadi mindset” of the Congress.

Addressing a Public Rally at Trasi near Byndoor Yogi Adityanath said, “no one can stop” the BJP from forming the government in Karnataka. “The Congress party does not believe in development, their belief is in dividing the society in the name of caste or religion. “I have come here to call upon you to outrightly reject the divisive politics of the Congress, the jihadi mindset of the Congress, its policies of supporting terrorism and corruption”.

Yogi tried to strike a chord with the local people by saying he has come from the land of Lord Rama and Karnataka was the land of Lord Hanuman and it was Karnataka which came to the help of Lord Rama.

On the issue of suicide of farmers, Yogi said UP has a population of 23 crore which is three times more than Karnataka. But, there was no case of the farmers suicide in UP, he claimed. Unlike the Karnataka government, which had waived loans of farmers taken from cooperative societies, the UP government had waived all kinds of farm loans, including those taken from nationalised banks.

“The Karnataka government has failed to act despite an increase in the number of the murders of the Hindu activists. The law and order situation in any state is a reflection of the mindset of the party in power. The Congress government has failed to develop Karnataka,” he said. Adityanath charged the Congress party of sheltering Jihadists, while the Uttar Pradesh government had successfully curbed them.

The BJP-ruled Central government has released funds for Karnataka. But ministers of this state government are so corrupt that they have not allowed those funds to reach the people, he alleged.

Yogi said it is so astonishing that CM Siddaramaiah is refusing to accept the greatness of Shivaji Maharaj, “a national hero”. Besides, he celebrated Tipu Sultan Jayanti, he added. During Congress’s tenure here, 23 BJP leaders have been murdered. He alleged, if the Congress rule continues, the day is not far for the state to become a “Jihadi hub”.

Appealing to the people to support BJP for the sake of Karnataka and its development, he said the Congress has always neglected the state by making lesser financial allocations.

“The world over leaders want to replicate India’s developmental agenda ushered in by Narendra Modi, but the Congress which does not know what is development is laughing at it and is raising questions about it,” he said.

Various BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
