RGUHS Throw Ball and Tennikoit Tourney Inaugurated at FMHMCH
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Mysuru Zonal Inter-Collegiate Throw Ball (Men and Women) and Tennikoit (Women) Tournament inaugurated at Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital-Derlakatte on 27 October.
Mangaluru: “Students should take an active part in sports and should enjoy playing games for healthy mind and body. They should never underestimate opponent or have extra over confidence on themselves” with these words Rev Fr Richard Coelho, Director, FMCI the chief guest, began the inaugural programme of the RGUHS Mysore Zonal Inter-collegiate Throw Ball (Men & Women) & Tennikoit (Women) Tournament 2017-18 hosted at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Deralakatte on 27th October 2017.
The tournament was inaugurated by the chief guest with mock play. The programme began with the Prayer song. Dr Shivaprasad K, Principal welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Sylvester Lobo, Incharge Administrator, FMHMC&H, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal, FMHMC&H, Rev Fr Peter Noronha, Former Director, Dr Sajan K R, Coordinator, Sports Committee, FMHMC&H, Mr Chenna Keshava MG, Physical Education Instructor, FMHMC&H, Mr Goutham K S, Sports Secretary, FMHMC&H & faulty members were present for the programme.
The mementos for the officials were given by the Chief Guest. The inaugural programme ended with vote of thanks by Goutham K S, Sports Secretary and Institution anthem
