Rihanna to appear in musical drama next
Los Angeles, March 16 (IANS) Singer Rihanna will join “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” fame actor Adam Driver to star in the upcoming musical drama film “Annette”.
Details about Rihanna’s role are yet to be announced, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Previously, Rooney Mara was also set to appear in the movie, but she left due to other commitments.
The producers are currently looking for another lead actress.
“Annette” follows a stand-up comedian who becomes a widower after the death of his opera singer wife. He is left to raise his two-year-old daughter who harbors surprising gift.
The film will be directed by Leos Carax.
