Ritz Car Runs Over Flower Vendors near KSRTC, Two Injured
Mangaluru: Two flower vendors were severely injured after a ritz car ran over them near the KSRTC Bus stand on January 13 night.
The injured have been identified as Sannappa (35) and Rajesh (28).
According to sources, the flower vendors were taking rest on the footpath opposite Bharath Mall near the KSRTC Bus stand. At around 10:30 pm, the driver of a Ritz car bearing registration number KL 60 G 437 lost control, climbed the footpath and ran over two of the flower vendors who were resting there.
Soon after the incident, the driver of the car fled from the spot. The police who were immediately informed rush to the spot and shifted the injured to A J Hospital.
A case has been registered by the Pandeshwar Traffic police and the car has been seized.
