Road Safety Awareness Walkathon by KMC Hospitals Mangaluru on August 7
Mangaluru: As per the Theme for 2018 of National Bone & Joint Day of Indian Orthopaedic Association, KMC Hospitals Mangaluru in association with Emergency Medicine Association, Karnataka & Canara Orthopaedic Society® has organised a series of events on Road Safety which is well supported by Mangaluru City Police Crime & Traffic Dept.
There will be a Road Safety awareness Walk from KMC Hospital Dr. Ambedkar Circle via Balmatta Road to Kasturba Medical College Lighthouse hill on Tuesday the 7th August 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
Dr Anand Venugopal, Medical Superintendent of KMC Hospitals Mangaluru stated The Theme by Indian Orthopaedic Association ‘Road Safety’ is an attempt to train the young on road safety so as to enrich their future and create awareness among them on small aspects of Road safety which can reduce Road traffic accidents and save lives.
The other events include A live Phone-In program on Road Safety on Namma TV by Doctors of KMC & Mangaluru City Police Traffic Dept.
There will also be an Interaction Program by Dept. of Crime & Traffic Police with the MBBS students of KMC on Wednesday the 8th August followed by Road Safety Awareness Street Play on Wednesday 5:45 pm at the Forum Mall Premises Pandeshwar.
