Robbie Williams paid 1.6 mn pounds for wedding gig?
Prague, Aug 18 (IANS) English singer Robbie Williams was reportedly given 1.6 million pounds to perform at Russian oil magnate Rashid Sardarov’s daughter’s wedding at Prague Castle.
The “Let Me Entertain You” singer was hired by Sardarov to perform at his daughter Victoria’s nuptials with Anton Antonov, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The couple said their vows at Prague Castle in front of their family and friends, including Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio.
Sharing a photograph of herself and Williams, Sampaio captioned it: “He sang angels just to me #angelsinprague @robbiewilliams #nakedblack.”
At the gothic theme wedding, where waitresses wore fangs and fake blood, Williams performed a number of his biggest hits to the excited guests.
“There were many very rich people among the wedding guests. Some of them said that the wedding cost 8.06 million pounds,” said a source.
