Bengaluru: Wildlife Conservation Society – India would like to bring to your notice one section that has been majorly involved in rescue and relief work in Kerala floods, but largely gone unnoticed as they have been involved in the forest fringe areas- is the Kerala forest department that has rescued over 2000 people while taking care of more than 5000 in their relief camps. And now the department has dispatched teams of five to the badly-hit areas to help with cleaning up of homes and surroundings.
