Rotary Club of Mluru Donates 3 Covid-19 Swab Collecting Kiosks for COVID Infected Patients’ at Wenlock Hospital
Mangaluru: Rotary Club of Mangalore donated THREE Kiosks at a cost of Rs 1,50,000/-, for Throad Swab Collecting for COVID Infected Patients’at Govt Wenlock Hospital at 12 noon. It is an initiative by Rotary Club, Mangalore to protect the Doctor’s and Medical Staff at Wenlock Hospital who are risking their health and lives to save and protect others. This facility will reduce the requirement of PPE’S for individual Health Care Workers.This Kiosk is completely sealed and it reduces the contact between patient and Paramedics/ Doctors. The kiosks was manufactured on a war footing by Maroor’s Aluminium and Interiors, Mangaluru.
The kiosks were donated in the presence of DMO Dr Sadashiva, DHO Dr Ramachandra Bhiari, RMO Dr Julian Saldanha and other senior specialists of Wenlock Hospital. President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Rtn Jathin Attavar, Secretary Rtn Dr Pramod and Community Service Director Rtn Aditya Pai, Past Presidents Rtn Rajendra Kalbavi, Rtn Yatish Baikampady , Rtn Dijaraj Nair and members Rtn Ashwin Pai Maroor , Rtn Shashidhar Pai Maroor , Rtn Dr Sadananda Poojary were present on the occasion.
