Rs 1000 Crore Scam of BJP to Destabilize Coalition Government – U T Khader

Mangaluru: “The BJP leaders spent more than 1000 crore to destabilize the coalition government. The BJP leaders are misusing the Constitutional institutions, they have kept the Rebel MLAs under house arrest. This is murder of democracy and a Rs 1000 crore scam”, alleged former minister U T Khader at a press meet held at the Circuit House here on July 24.

Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “We have received information that the BJP leaders have paid Rs 60 to 70 crores to each rebel MLA. The demonetization is just an eyewash. Paying Rs 60 to 70 crores to each MLA, special flights for them to go to Mumbai, Hotel stay etc. has cost the BJP more than Rs 1000 crores. Let’s Wait for three months, the truth will come out from them.”

U T Khader further said, “The previous government had given me the post of the Health Minister and also the food minister. In the coalition government, I was given the district minister in-charge post as well as the Urban development minister. I have done my best in my 6 and half years tenure as minister and I have the satisfaction of doing my job well. I was happy when I took the oath as the minister at the Raj Bhavan. I was also happy when I resigned from my post for the sake of the party. If God willing and the blessings of the people I will surely become a minister again. Very few people get the opportunity to sacrifice power when the party is in dire need. I got the opportunity and did what is good for the party.”

Khader also said, “I will continue my development work as an MLA in my constituency. I will face the BJP government sitting in the opposition. I have successfully utilized the government funds for the development of my constituency. I would like to thank the coalition government CM Kumaraswamy, former CM Siddarammaiah, all the MLAs, the voters of my constituency, the people of the district and the media friends for their support.”
