Rs 300 Crore Ram Mandir to be Built in Ayodhya – Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji
Udupi: The meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust took place at the Circuit House, Ayodhya on July 18. Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math who is the member of the trust participated in the meeting via video conference from Udupi.
After the meeting, Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji released a statement to the media via video saying that, Larsen & Toubro is collecting samples for soil for testing. Drawings of the Temple foundation will be made based on the strength of the land 60 meters below. Work to lay down the foundation will begin based on the drawing.
He said that it was discussed that the Temple would be built at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crores. The trust will be contacting various companies through their CSR fund for financial support to build the Temple. We will also hold a nationwide campaign from November 25 to December 25, asking financial support from each Hindu family to build the Temple.
“After the situation became normal, funds have been collected, and all drawings for the construction of the Temple are complete, we think that the construction will be completed by 3 to 3.5 years after the start of the construction work. The date for the (‘Bhumi Pujan’) foundation laying ceremony will be announced soon”, he added.
