RSS has right to have its own opinion on Ram Mandir Issue – Ravi Shanker Gurujiuruji
Udupi: The founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Ravishankar Guruji visited Sri Krishna Temple, Udupi here on Wednesday, December 6.
After arriving in Udupi, Ravishankar Guruji visited the Sri Krishna Temple and had a ‘darshan’ of Sri Krishna Mukhyaprana and also received the blessings of Paryaya Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math.
Later Ravishankar Guruji was honoured by Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji of Prayaya Pejawar Math at the Rajangana.
Speaking to media persons Ravishankar Guruji said, “I had not attended the Dharma Sansad programmes because of personal reasons. Many people opposed my ‘mediatorship’ between Hindus and Muslims on the Babri Mosque/Ram Mandir conflict. They have the right to express their views but I will continue my work and there is no change in it. All issues can be resolved through dialogue. All of us respect the courts, but it (courts) cannot connect hearts. I am trying to resolve the issue, outside the court. Wherever I have met the leaders, all of them have supported the Ram Mandir cause. Both the communities have positively responded to this issue. All are peace lovers in this regard but the RSS has all the rights to have their own opinion”.
Paryaya Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji speaking to meidapersons said, “I am not disclosing the discussion between me and Guruji but the Dharma Sansad never opposed Ravi Shanker Guruji. Some people expressed their opinion, we also explained to Ravi Shanker the resolutions which were taken in the Dharma Sansad. Everyone is also expecting to resolve the Ram Mandir issue outside the court. No one is opposing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya”.
