Along with the Right to Time Bound Services Delivery Act, Revenue Department has also geared up to help the common man of the state in a smooth and easy manner into the State of Goa and has planned various initiatives through the month of April and May ….
Under the Right to Time Bound Services Delivery Act the Revenue Department would offer:
- Boards on Timelines for Public Information are being set up…..
- New email id for Public Grievances which will be accessed by Revenue Minister, Secretary Revenue and. both Collectors.
- Collectors will personally monitor redressal …
- Branding with “Zero Tolerance to Corruption” and “Bribery is an Offence” stickers in all Taluka offices and both Collectorates
- Uniform timing of 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesdays for all Talukas Dy Collectors and Mamlatdars who will jointly listen to grievances and redress them at latest by the next sitting
Initiatives planned for the Month of April
Launch of E-District: Under which the Village level Services Delivery and Single Window for Partition and Conversion in all Talukas that are already being implemented since 2015in both districts will be brought under a single portal, enabling filing of online applications by citizens, Adhar linkage and Digital lockers
Initiatives planned for the Month of May …
Integration of Gauri and Dharani Softwares: enabling automatic initiation of mutation on payment of mutation fees at the Sub-Registrar office and online transmission of registered sale deed and other documents to the mamlatdar
Happy Quotient Recording: through Smileys interface to capture the satisfaction levels of citizens accessing services in the revenue offices and to address problem areas
Court Case Monitoring System: That will maintain online logs of all court cases in the various revenue Courts with Roznama and details of the cases, along with dates for appearances, this will help monitor and reduce pendency of cases
Introduction of IVRS Based Citizen Response System .. Integrated with SMS Gateway to give a one stop solution for checking status of application and for registering grievances
Backpack Kits for Village Level Series: will be placed along with trained staffs at 4-5 locations from where they will move into villages with a tablet, printer, scanner, and projector, applications would then be directly uploaded on to the e-district portal and receipts will be generated online, the kits would also be used for creating awareness on various Government Schemes …
Minister Rohan Khaunte said that though it would take one or two months to put everything in order, his Department from now on would have no nonsense policy and administration lapses would not be tolerated while giving government services to the common man
Khaunte said that the Mutation process would also be simplified which could help to complete the cases within 3 months …. Khaunte also said that his department would carry out a drive to clear all pending mutation cases too ….
